A Ross musician has been left distraught following a burglary at her home at the beginning of the month. As well as jewellery and a mobile phone many musical items were stolen, including two violins and bows.
burglars forced a door at the house in the Ashfield area of Ross sometime between 11am on Sunday, February 2nd and 3pm on Wednesday, February 5th and made an untidy search before leaving with a golden coloured English violin made by Nigel Harris on 1991 and a darker reddish brown instrument made by Albert Knupser in 1903. They also took two violin bows - one made by JW Stagg.
