A GANG of thieves drove away cars worth more than £200,000 from an exhibitor at the Monmouthshire Show.

The cars were taken overnight after they had been delivered to the showground on Wednesday, August 26th ahead of the show on Thursday.

The six cars were part of a display of 34 brought to the Showground, in Osbaston Road, to be sold by Forest of Dean-based Five Acres Garage.

Five Acres Garage's general manager Shawn Howells said the two most valuable cars that were stolen, a Range Rover 3.6 V8 worth £65,000 and a Range Rover Sport 3.6 V8 worth £45,000, were positioned in the middle of the stand.
