MADAM, I was very interested to see the photograph of 1002 Ross-on-Wye Squadron Air Training Corps, as I was a member of the squadron and am shown seated in the front row. I can't remember all the names, but the ones I can are as follows:

Back row, left to right: Colin Sherwood; Roger Bevan; Colin Marsh; Roy Green; David Webb; two lads from Upton Bishop, one Brown(?); Winney; (?); Roy Davies; Christopher; Roger Brooks.

Front row, left to right: Ian Walker; John Kirk; (?); Corporal Clive Hitchins; Pilot Officer John Crick; Station Liaison Officer; Officer Commanding 1002 Squadron, Flight Lieutenant ECW (Ted) Harwood; Corporal Robert Colburn; Corporal Robert Jones; Philip Cook; Jimmy Parsons; Stuart?

Inset photograph shows Roger Bevan in a Chipmunk before or after a flight experience.

This was the summer camp of 1953 at RAF Pembrey, South Wales, and the other aircraft is a Tempest or Typhoon, not quite sure which.
