Thousands of people lined the streets of Ross-on-Wye this afternoon (Saturday, August 6th) to watch the colourful procession of floats tour the town centre.

Following the parade, the crowd headed down to the Rope Walk to enjoy the Carnival Field, where the party continues. There are currently many stalls, a fun fair, refreshments, and a vintage car display, to name but a few of the delights on offer.

Maddie Morgan, this year’s Carnival Princess, led the procession, along with her attendants. Many other fantastic floats followed, and some of those who took part in the parade threw sweets and stickers to their delighted audience.
