The police in Ross will be cracking down on speeding drivers on the Ledbury Road and Walford Road following complaints from the local community.

The new priority was agreed at the recent Ross area PACT meeting on Thursday, August 20th, following face-to-face surveys, direct contact with the police and complaints sent to the local MP, Mr Paul Keetch.

Sgt Neil Welding, who supervises the Local Policing Teams in Ross, said: "As you all know, the police in Ross follow the 'Educate, then Legislate' principle as being the fairest way to solve a particular problem.
