The owners and staff at Vine Tree Vets have not only been celebrating the festive season, they are also very proud that they have gained the title of Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons accredited practice.
Whilst retaining this accreditation at their previous practice, Archenfield Veterinary Surgery, Vine Tree Vets moved into new premises on the Walford Road, in Ross-on-Wye, in April of this year. The RCVS accreditation is not transferable.
Simon and Mel Lyddon, the owners of Vine Tree Vets, told the Ross Gazette that to have been assessed and awarded this accreditation within six months of setting up a brand new surgery, is a fantastic achievement. They have thanked the team for all their hard work, and the commitment that has been given towards gaining such an excellent result for the practice in such a short time.
To become an accredited practice they have gone through a rigorous inspection, and to maintain this accreditation they will be subject to spot checks at any time, and a full inspection every four years.
The team told the Ross Gazette they will continue to strive to achieve other awards which are part of the RCVS standards, this will ensure Vine Tree Vets continues to offer clients the very best treatment and care.
They look forward to welcoming clients, old and new, to the practice and sharing this fantastic achievement.
