Madam, on Christmas Day my wife and I decided to chance JD Wetherspoons in Ross for our Christmas dinner and what a great time it turned out to be.

The table was laid for five people including our family with all the features of Christmas. The dinner was excellent, there was a choice of starters, the soup, with bread rolls, was enough for three people a meal on its own. There was a choice of meats, second helpings of roast potatoes and other vegetables were available if required, a choice of sweets, including quality Christmas pudding, mince pies and a glass of wine, all for the price of £30. The staff could not do enough for us, and the chef came out for a chat.
