For the second week running, Ross åTown were feeling unlucky not to come away with something from their home game with Wooferton which they lost 2-1. Wooferton. Last season's league winners started the stronger and took the lead. When Ross defender Casey Morgan headed the ball to his centre half partner Greg Burford, who was unfortunately injured at the time, the Wooferton striker raced through to beat keeper Dan Morris.

Thereafter, Ross shaded the game and equalised just before the interval when Justin Halfpenny poached a typical striker's goal, robbing the Wooferton defender and the goal keeper to score. The 2nd half was still very tight, with Ross playing some excellent football in patches, but with only a few minutes remaining, Wooferton was awarded a penalty from which they scored leaving it too late for Ross to get back into the game.

Ross Town are still playing some excellent football against some top sides and it must be only a matter of time before the results start going their way. Security Alarm Services man of the match was Carl Roberts.
