The Ross gazette recently received a letter about the tractors using Alton Road.

The letter writer explained that her young daughter loves to walk to school every day, using Alton Street. She said that when her little girl sees a tractor coming up or down the road she gets very scared because if the tractors cannot pass the cars coming towards them they will mount the pavement.

She is appealing to anyone driving a tractor to imagine they are the size of a five year old and think how scary their vehicle must look.

We could not publish the letter in full because it had not been signed and no address was given. Although the Gazette is willing to publish letters withholding the name and address we still have to have them for our records.
