Motorists in Ross-on-Wye have reported traffic delays on Ledbury Road following the part-closure of the road.

The private works began on June 26th and will finish on August 25th. Multi-way traffic control is in place.

Owing to issues with the traffic lights and the volume of traffic, cars have reportedly been backing up onto the A40 roundabout.

The work involves the installation of a new rising main to serve a new housing development off the A40, and is being undertaken by Bell Contracting Ltd, overseen Herefordshire Council.See this week’s paper for more stories like this, available in shops and as a Digital Edition now.
