Madam, I'd welcome suggestions on how visitors to the riverside or the rowing club and residents exiting various drives onto Edde Cross Street, within this unmanned traffic system are supposed to guess when it is safe to join the road.

A kind oncoming vehicle driver can let you know and let you in. But as anyone braving the Kyrle Street turn will testify, some drivers like to see if they can hit 60mph by this point on Edde Cross Street. It can be tricky if edging out when no traffic at first presents itself and you have to guess when it is safe to pull out.

This is not the first time sloppy, dangerous road management has been allowed to persist, or be commented upon. Who is responsible?
