Two cars involved in a traffic collision outside Ross-on-Wye

The emergency services were called to the crossroads at Old Gore, at approximately 9.10am this morning. Two cars were involved in a road traffic collision, at the crossroads where the A449 meets with the B4224.

A spokesperson from Herefordshire and Worcestershire Fire and Rescue Service (HWFRS) told the Ross Gazette that one crew from Ross-on-Wye attended the scene. The collision included two vehicles, a silver BMW and a red Hyundai. No-one was trapped, so the incident was left with the police and ambulance service.

The West Midlands Ambulance Service confirmed that this was a non-injury incident. One ambulance attended the scene, and two patients were assessed, although neither required hospital treatment.Police temporarily blocked the road, but it was cleared by 9.45am.
