WHEN the PO closed last November, many villagers in Hoarwithy felt its loss. Not anymore. Thanks to the Parish Council, a new venue – thanks to the New Harp – and PO outreach services provided by Ewyas Harold PO, Hoarwithy has postal services once again. "This is a fantastic rural service," said Parish Councillor, Peter Pember. The post office will be open 10-12 Monday mornings and, for an initial 12 weeks, Friday afternoons, 2-4.
