A minutes silence was held before this fixture as a mark of respect to Marcus Powell, the young footballer who was tragically killed last week. Weston Warriors FC send deep condolences to the family and close friends of Marcus.

From the kick off Weston just couldn't get going in this Boss Cup Round 2 game and for the first half didn't improve. Greyhound played some nice organised football while Warriors were a bit confused as to how they should attack the league A side, gifting the ball to Greyhound on too many occasions.

Subinaya scored Warriors only goal with a well taken penalty kick. Warriors improved slightly in the second half after a re-shuffle of formation but it was not enough and the visitors rolled into the third round.

The Clive Challenger man of the match was shared between Subinaya and Patrick and the most improved player was Christian.

Warriors next game is away to Bromyard on November 20th for a 10.30 kick off.
