The Partridge family, who live at Pengethley, were delighted to enable Breast Cancer Haven in Hereford to host a Vintage Tea Party on Sunday, July 30th, which rasied £1,500 for the charity.

A local couple, Chloe Partridge, and her fiancé, Carl, donated the use of their wedding marquee to Breast Cancer Haven for the fundraising event, the day after their wedding took place on July 29th at Chloe’s family farm in Pengethley near Ross-on-Wye.

Chloe and Carl were approached by the Hereford charity earlier this year when the charity was looking for a venue for their summer vintage tea party. Williams Marquees, also agreed to the use of the marquee for the charity event.

The vintage themed afternoon saw over 200 people enjoying afternoon tea in the glorious surroundings at Chloe’s family farm, Upper House Farm, Pengethley.

There was a display of vintage vehicles, summer games on the lawn, vintage stalls and lots of very energetic dancing to jive, swing and rock ‘n’ roll music.

The summer event raised £1,500 for Breast Cancer Haven in Hereford, a charity providing support to anyone affected by breast cancer.
