In July, the Group Annual Quiz was hosted once again. There were 12 tables of four ladies, with Bishopswood WI team repeating their success of the last few years. Supper was provided by Jenny Holmes and a lively and noisy evening was enjoyed by all.

A few members of Peterstow WI visited Ross Court Residential home last month. Amanda Cornes, a talented crafter and member, assisted residents in producing memory boards. The subjects were the Royal Family and the Ross area. This visit was hailed a success by the participants.

The guest speaker for August was Graham Wren who gave a talk on ‘The Countryside in the 1960s’. Graham spoke about his life on a farm, which was accompanied by slides. Following this, an extensive tea was enjoyed by all, including the visitors.

Anyone who is interested in joining Peterstow WI will be made most welcome. The meetings are held in Bridstow Hall at 14.30 on the first Wednesday of each month.
