Voting is now open in West Mercia Police’s ’Stay Safe, be Aware’ school poster competition.??

171 poster entries were received in total, which have now been shortlisted down to six for each Local Authority area, with a total of 24 posters in total.

Themes covered in the posters include: staying safe online, stopping graffiti, home security and preventing bullying.??

These 24 shortlisted posters have been uploaded online for those taking part in the voting to decide the overall Top three posters.

People are able to vote for one poster per local authority area - Herefordshire, Shropshire, Telford & Wrekin and Worcestershire. The deadline for voting is midnight on Thursday, December 3rd.?? The winning school will get a prize of £1,000, second place school will get £500 and third place school will get £250. To vote, visit: www.westmercia-pcc.gov.uk

West Mercia Police are also running a competition to design a mobile app and schools and training establishments are reminded that the deadline for entries is this Friday, November 27th.

Winning app designs will be built by the University of Worcester and the overall winner also gets a £2,000 cash prize.
