Eight Walford gardens will be open to visitors on Sunday, June 10th in aid of St Michael and All Angels’ Church. The Summer Open Gardens will be opening their doors to the public between 10am and 4pm.
The natural starting point will be at Castle Brook, HR9 5SG, to enjoy bacon and asparagus rolls for brunch as well as the opportunity to purchase produce and plants. The horticultural tour then continues along Coughton valley, Bulls Hill, the Walford Road and Hom Green. The day will end at Homme Farm with strawberry cream teas, produce stalls and the drawing of the amazing raffle.
The cost of a ticket is £6 per adult (no concessions), children are free. There will be something a little extra at each of the gardens to keep all the family entertained and refreshed.
This is a unique opportunity to see inside the most interesting “secret” gardens that Walford has to offer as well as views of our surrounding countryside that you’ll never before have been afforded.
All money raised will go towards the upkeep of the beautiful church. If you are able to offer any help on the day, such as manning gates or assisting with parking, please email Sanna Drummond via [email protected].
Everyone will be welcome at what promises to be a glorious day.
