A Herefordshire couple are donating the use of their wedding marquee to a local charity for a fundraising event, the day after their wedding.

Breast Cancer Haven in Hereford will host a Vintage Tea Party on Sunday, July 30th from 2-5pm, by kind permission of The Partridge family.

Chloe Partridge, and her fiancé, Carl, will be getting married on July 29th at Chloe’s family farm in Pengethley, near Ross-on-Wye. Chloe and Carl were approached by the Hereford charity earlier this year when the charity was looking for a venue for their summer vintage tea party. Williams Marquees, have agreed to the use of the marquee for the charity event.

Bride, Chloe said: “We couldn’t think of a better way to make the most of our wedding marquee. Breast Cancer Haven does such amazing work and we’re really pleased to be able to help in some way.”

The charity event will take place at Upper Pengethley Farm on the A49 on Sunday, July 30th, there will be afternoon teas, vintage stalls, old style fair games and swing, jive and rock’n’roll music and dancing throughout the afternoon.

Tickets to the Vintage Tea Party cost just £2 per person or £5 for a family, for more information, please see the ’What’s On’ page of this week’s edition of the Ross Gazette, or subscribe to our digital edition here.
