MADAM, As the manager of December House, I want to say thank you to the many local residents, councillors and organisations who have contacted us to express their support for the work that we do.
Since 2001 we have provided a unique service that helps young local, vulnerable people to turn their lives around. These are youngsters who are often made homeless through tragic circumstances, yet can easily slip through the safety net.
From providing a home, to assisting with training, gaining employment and volunteering, we work to give 16 – 25 year olds the confidence and opportunity to become valuable members of society.
I'm incredibly proud of our very many young people who give their time to help others locally and I hope that others can join me in wishing the youngsters at December House every success for the future.
