Madam, Last Thursday, students and teachers from Ashfield Park School came for a visit to the Heritage Centre to learn about local history and the like. The visit was combined with attendance at the Act of Remembrance at the Market House at 11 o'clock.

I would like to say how impressed I was with the way all the children conducted themselves during the silence, as well as during their time with me in the Heritage Centre.

Congratulations should be passed to not only them, but to the headteacher and staff as well, who are obviously teaching them exceedingly well about how to behave not just in events such as these, but in general day-to-day life.

I know I am not the only one who was impressed, as the Mayor also spoke to me to say how much she admired them for their conduct and behaviour. Well done all. Give yourselves a pat on the back.
