Dear Editor,

I should be grateful if any of your readers can shed any light on the ongoing work being carried out at Welsh Bicknor church which has been closed for many years now. This is near to the Lydbrook black bridge over the river, at present deemed to be unsafe and therefore closed. Is there any connection between the two?
