THE monthly Coffee Morning resumes this Saturday (February 7) at St Mary's Church.

The Welsh 'Sgwrs' group (which translates as chat group) have made this coffee morning their place to meet and chat in Welsh, along with learners and non-speakers alike from 10:30am to noon.

This Saturday the group will be busy planning the St David's Day celebrations which will commence with a special St David's Day service at Walford Church on Sunday, March 1 at 9.30am.

They will also be arranging the next Coffee Morning as they are the hosts and will be dressed in Welsh costume along with Ruth Cartledge the local harpist playing traditional Welsh music on the harp.

The event is open to all with plenty of room to meet up with family and friends.
