The heavy rain has been causing problems for motorists as well as anyone who has been out and about over the last couple of days, with heavy rain expected for today as well.
Saturday is looking a little more promising in Ross-on-Wye, with a dry start to the morning, however more rain is forecast later in the day so if you are planning on going to the Christmas Carnival this Saturday, December 21st be sure to pack an umbrella. The parade starts at Brookend Street at about 4:50pm and Father Christmas arrives at the Market House at about 5:00pm. Santa’s helpers have told the Ross Gazette that Father Christmas will be in Ross whatever the weather.
Heavy rain is forecast to return on Saturday evening.
Moving forward towards Christmas Day, the weather in Ross looks likely to improve with dry cloudy days and just a few light showers.
