Madam, Having recently spent a number of evenings at the Larruperz Centre watching the latest production from X-entricity, I felt I had to express my absolute delight in what I saw.

X-entricity have never ceased to amaze me with their talent and dedication and this production of 'Beauty & the Beast' exceeded all expectations. But no madam, the costumes were not the stars – yes they were beautiful, but the stars for me were these wonderful young people who, over the last few months have worked so hard, putting heart and soul into it, for hours upon hours, to become this incredible cast.

The stars were the set builders who yet again produced the tremendous scenery, working sometimes until after midnight and starting again at 6am. The stars were the musicians and technicians and those behind the scenes keeping everything together.

The costumes were marvellous and certainly enhanced this excellent production but I repeat, they were not the stars.

Ross-on-Wye is lucky to have X-entricity and they need to be supported in all they do. This production was expensive but worth it for the pleasure it gave to those taking part and those of us who saw it. I can't wait to see what's coming next!
