A vehicle which caught fire and was destroyed in Ross in the early hours of Friday morning is still causing a nuisance to the residents of Kent Avenue where is happened.
At 1.45am on November 16th two fire crews from Ross attended the incident which involved an LPG vehicle. It took about an hour to deal with the fire using two hose reels and two firefighters in breathing apparatus. One of the residents Clive Hamilton told the Gazette that it made a terrible mess with broken glass over the road.
The police are investigating the incident and a spokesman said:?"At this time, we are unable to say if the fire was started deliberately or accidentally.
However inquiries are ongoing into the incident and anyone with information is asked to call police on 0300 333 3000 quoting 25S 161112."
But what has really worried and angered the residents is that the vehicle has been left in a busy road without being coned off.
