MADAM, With the coalition government embarrassed by its thwarted attempt to sell off our forests, we should not forget that our MP, Jesse Norman, voted for the sale to go ahead.
Should we not be concerned that an MP entrusted to represent rural interests felt the sell-off was in the interests of the people of Herefordshire?
I do not remember seeing selling our forests as part of his election campaign. If MPs are going to regain trust, they need to act with good judgment and integrity. Neither was evident in the attempt to sell our forests.
