Around the globe, millions of people, businesses and landmarks take part in Earth Hour to save energy and show they care about the future of our planet.

This year Earth Hour is on Saturday, March 25th at 8:30pm.

Earth Hour is co-ordinated by WWF and other volunteer organisations. Together they hope to shine a light on the need for action on climate change.

Earth Hour is more than an event. It is a movement. Over the last 10 years, it has achieved massive environmental impact and this year the LiveSimply group from Monmouth & Ross Catholic parish communities is supporting Earth Hour and urging local residents to join them in switching off lights during this hour and encourage friends and work colleagues to do so too.
