Ross Hockey Club 1sts faced a tough challenge away to Sherbourne at the Weekend.
Sherborne mounted a fast paced attack towards the Ross goal drawing 'keeper Andy Ridgway to make a save. It wasn't long until Ross had the ball, with Attacker Phil Evans having an attempt at goal, but failing to score.
Ross raised the pressure using the midfielders, Sam Warner, Tom Walton, Luke Ward, Kristian Franklin and Nick Clarke, to push through the Sherbourne defence enabling Tom Walton to take his team into the lead. It wasn't long until the attackers Adrian Williams and Phil Evans got the shooting bug, taking any attempts possible in the Sherbourne 'D'.
