Directed by David Durant in an adaptation by Simon Reade, audiences can follow the Bennet sisters as they haplessly handle issues of love, manners, morality, education and marriage. First published in 1813, Pride and Prejudice has retained a fascination for modern readers and is one of the most popular novels in English literature.

Featuring professional actors performing alongside members of The Courtyard Youth Theatre, this sparkling interpretation of one of the most loved stories of all time will be a must see for Austen fans.

David Durant, Associate Director of The Courtyard, says: “Pride and Prejudice is a classic story with themes and issues which still resonate with audiences today and our Youth Theatre cast members are relishing the challenge of taking on such an iconic period piece. The combination of professional actors performing alongside young people will create a wonderful energy on stage with the end result of a very passionate performance.”

Pride & Prejudice has been kindly sponsored by Rotherwood Healthcare and will be in The Courtyard’s Main House from Tuesday, October 3rd – Saturday, October at 7.30pm with a 2pm matinee on Thursday, October 5th and Saturday.
