Simon Harradine, the Welsh National Champion, and one of the most successful riders the county and Ross has produced, has been in successful action again at the weekend.
After winning the Ludlow event last weekend, Simon Harradine, riding for Leisure Lake Cycles, won the Western division veterans championship, at Cricklade near Swindon on Sunday morning. Although Simon is many years from Veteran Status, there was a scratch race for all ages. There was a last minute change of course due to on going road works. This coupled with the terrible weather conditions, made for a tough event. Simon recorded a time of 21mins.5 secs a beating of thirty seconds over second man Andrew Green from Lutterworth.
