Ross was covered in an unusually early snowfall on Friday and residents shivered through an exceptionally cold weekend. The temperature was recorded at Ross Weather Station on Friday as -4.2ºC, 23.2ºF but on Saturday it had plumetted to -11.2ºC, just 11.8ºF.
