Police are appealing for witnesses in relation to this morning's serious RTC at Phocle Green. (September 12th).
They are seeking any witnesses to the collision that occurred at 06.33 hours. In particular a silver Citroen Berlingo (or similar) '08' van was seen near the scene at the time and may be a witness. Call 101 if you have any information.
Emergency services were called to the A449 at 6.33am to reports of a collision involving two cars.
A man, believed to be in his 50s, has been airlifted to Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham while a second patient, a man believed to be in his 20s, is being transferred to Hereford County Hospital via land ambulance.
An air ambulance from Cosford, three ambulances, a rapid response vehicle, a paramedic area support officer and a doctor were all on the scene.
Two fire crews from Ross and an officer were also in attendance. One person was trapped and had to be extricated by crews. Fire crews have now left the scene.
The A449 - Old Gore to Travellers Rest remains closed, and drivers are urged to find alternative routes.
West Mercia Police and Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue Service were also in attendence and fire crews released one patient from a vehicle.
