Madam, It was wonderful to see so many people in the streets of Ross-on-Wye last Saturday at the May Fayre. It showed how community spirit is alive and well in Ross.

There were people literally dancing in the streets, the weather was good, and everyone I spoke to was clearly having a fantastic time.

Huge congratulations to David MacGregor and everyone from ART and all the community volunteers who pulled the event off in such a short time.

I would love to see this event happen every year, and will be thanking Ross-on-Wye Town Council and Herefordshire Council for their very generous grants – and of course asking them to do the same thing next year!

Very well done to everyone involved, and thank you all.
