Work began on the Market House in Ross-on-Wye today, May 7th, and will continue for approximately 10 weeks.There will be access to Made in Ross, upstairs at the Market House until May 13th, then this will have to close for two weeks while the steps are restored, before reopening while the rest of the work continues.There was an extra meeting of the full Ross Town Council on Monday, March 18th to approve the contractors who will be carrying out work at the Market House. The renovation involves work to the roof and steps.

At the Annual Town Meeting on April 29th, residents were also told that new flowers will be planted and new hanging baskets will be installed.See the full story in this week’s edition of the Ross Gazette, or subscribe to our online edition here
