Work started this week on the installation of a controlled toucan crossing, for pedestrians and cyclists, on the A40, eastside of the Wilton roundabout. Lighting columns and a shared footway and cycle path will be installed.

Work is expected to continue until December and will be carried out at night between 8pm and 6am. This means that there will be some night time lane closures and diversions as and when required.

Access to businesses and residential properties will be maintianed at all times.
