Chairman of the Ross and District Royal British Legion, Graham Aplin, was delighted to unveil the repaired Silent Soldier in the Market Place.

The silhouette, which had been sponsored by the Town Council, had been damaged while it was at the Band Stand. Graham told the Gazette that the Soldier had been repaired by the Men’s Shed in Ross and he was very grateful for all the offers of support the Town Council and the RBL had received since it was damaged.See this week’s paper for more stories like this, available in shops and as a Digital Edition now.
