IT is amazing what a group of people can achieve when they put their minds to it. Soon after the start of WWII, in 1944, some enthusiastic women from Brampton Abbotts decided their village needed its own hall. With great zeal, perseverence and a host of imaginative fundraising ideas, Brampton Abbotts Village Hall eventually opened its doors for the first time on December 6th, 1956, after more than 12 years of endeavour by the people of the village.
