Storm Jonas seems to have passed over Ross-on-Wye, leaving the town relatively unscathed, however, heavy rain is expected later in the week; the Met Office have issued a yellow weather warning of rain, for Friday, January 29th.

Spells of heavy rain are expected to develop during Friday evening, at around 6pm, persisting overnight, before clearing away to the south during Saturday morning. The heaviest and most prolonged spells of rain are likely to be over high ground.

Be aware that there may be the potential for further localised flooding and disruption to travel.
