Three young players from Ross Bowling Club have represented Herefordshire in bowling's national championships.
In the men's under-25 singles, Shaun Jones and Dan Palmer gave good account of themselves before bowing out.
In the women's national under-25s pairs, 15-year-old Ross player Kate Williams teamed up with 16-year-old Carla Biddle of Eardisland, and made things hot for their older Oxfordshire opponents (both 24).
