It is good that Ross Council has kindly stationed signposts around the town to guide visitors to key spots and attractions.

When they work that is.

For the third time this summer I have helped bemused visitors find the Library.

They were baffled because the signpost (at the foot of the sloping path next to the Library) points in exactly the opposite direction.

Signposts for The Crofts and Town Centre are also way off line.

I suspect the hands of late night revellers.

Perhaps it’s time for an official with a step ladder to check things out and put our visitors back on the right track.
