I’ve noticed that all the rooks living in this established colony have disappeared since autumn last year. The numerous nests are still present but there is no sign of the birds.

Do you know whether they have been destroyed by the Highways Authority, local farmers or whether they could be victims of bird flu? All the other rookeries in the area are active with females laying or sitting on eggs.

I don’t know how to find out about this situation and any advice or information you can give me would be appreciated.
