Howle Hill made a return to action after two weeks off due to waterlogged pitches away at Westbury. Howle Hill made a good start with both James O'Brien and Andy Francis enjoying good possession, and an O'Brien cross was almost finished by Tom Shotton but he shot over when well placed.

Hill took the lead after 15 minutes when Bobby Hatch shot from outside the box straight to the keeper who managed to miss the ball. The duo of Edwards and Parsons had total control of the game. With ten minutes left of the half Shotton ran into the box, passed to Edwards, who was fouled inside the box and to the amazement of the home and away fans, the ref gave a foul to the home team and booked Edwards.
