Members, friends and visitors convened in the lovely Ross Tennis Centre pavilion to enjoy a morning of free tennis, drinks, and great company, on Sunday 30th December.

The players’ ages ranged from six-years-old to over 70-years-old and everyone enjoyed the friendly atmosphere and great tennis, which was played in a round-robin format.

Mulled wine and mince pies were served and very much enjoyed by those who came to watch, and also to those who were waiting for their turn to play on the wonderful new courts.

Approximately 40 people attended the event overall, which everyone hopes will be repeated next year.

A big thank you to Mike and Ali O’Brien for organising it, and to Rosie for the delicious mulled wine.

Ross Tennis Centre is currently advertising for a coach, and the closing date January 15th, 2019. Those who are not members at the Tennis Centre are welcome to play on courts three and four, all you have to do is simply visit the website rossten niscentre.org.
