Allsorts 41 v Lyndean 20

ALLSORTS played Lyndean in the Wye Valley Netball League recently. Allsorts had to make a quick team change at the start of the game due to an injury to the Goal Shooter. Showing her versatility, Claire Godwin, who usually plays Goal Defence, was able to step up to the job. Nicky Raine replaced Claire and played well with Goal Keeper Rachel Lea to make it very difficult for the Lyndean shooters to get close to the net.

Allsorts were the stronger team from the onset and came off at half-time very comfortable at 19-8 in the lead.

The centre court play was fairly even between the two teams, but Allsorts shooters were more accurate and alongside Goal Attack Dawn Bedley, Claire helped her team to a convincing 41-20 win.
