Ross-on-Wye Angling Club have taken the decision, due to high temperatures and low water levels, to stop all angling on their sections of the River Wye including the day ticket section in the town from Monday, July 23rd.
Kim Harman, Secretary of the club, said "The welfare and conservation of the fish are our prime concern and the ban will be lifted as soon as conditions allow. Suitable signage will be erected informing anglers and we shall also be informing local tackle shops of our decision."
