Ross ladies travelled in appalling weather conditions to Gloucester to take on a strong Badgers team at their den.

Ross started the game second best to their opponents and soon found themselves one nil down after conceding a goal from a well worked short corner routine which left Beth Ralph in the Ross goal with no chance. The Badgers smelt blood and soon doubled their advantage. After the Badgers broke quickly robbing Ross of possession in the middle of the park and their striker was afforded too much time and space in the Ross D before knocking the ball past the Ross keeper into the goal.

Ross seemed to be sparked into life after conceding the second goal and with coach Kristian Franklin barking orders from the sideline, Ross went onto enjoy a prolonged spell of possession, keeping the ball and moving it well but were unable to make the final pass count to get the goal that would bring them back into the game.
