In spite of the challenging weather conditions that greeted competitors on the Team GMF Wyedean Forest Rally in February 2012, the way the organisers from Forest of Dean Motor Club Ltd coped with the situation was recognised by the Association of South West Motor Clubs (ASWMC) who awarded them with its 'Best Event' trophy at the end of the season.

Now, the regulations for this year's rally, the 38th consecutive Wyedean Forest Rally and the fourth sponsored by GMF Motor Factors which takes place on Saturday, February 9th, are available to download from the event website http://www.wyedeanrally.com">www.wyedeanrally.com

The entry list for the 'Wyedean' can – and often does! - cater for 180 cars which, by some events' standards, is very high. However, when the fact that it has attracted the following Championships & Series to join it is taken into consideration, all of a sudden it becomes clear that entries will be at a premium and prospective competitors are urged to act swiftly!

The first car will leave the Chepstow start at 8.00am on 9th February and the route contains seven special stages in the Forest of Dean totalling 45 miles, a mere five of which are used more than once. At the completion of the event, cars will begin arriving back at the finish from 2.40pm that afternoon.
