On Sunday 7th October, Monross-Trailblazers hosted their second running of the 10k, 1000ft elevation, Blaze the Biblins.

This is a race that starts at the Doward and takes participants along off road muddy single tracks around the Biblins and eventually back up the ‘Demon hill’, finishing at the Doward car park.

Mark Hopkinson was 1st home in a time of 41 minutes 16 seconds from Torfaen Runners, which is also a new course record. Steve Rees was 2nd in 43 minutes and 5 seconds from Neath Harriers, with Jon Like 3rd in 44 minutes 13 seconds, also from Torfaen Runners.

Hannah Hopkinson was 1st female home in 52 minutes 23 seconds from Torfaen Runners, Harri Like was 2nd female in 53 minutes 4 seconds, also from Torfaen Runners. Cheryl Evans was 3rd female home in 53 minutes 24 seconds from Victoria Park Harriers and Tower Hamlets AC.
