WALFORD?Pre-School are to host a charity running race, on Saturday, November 14th; The Howling Bull Run.

The race, which will begin at Walford Village Hall, and will be a six mile, off road track; it climbs up Bulls Hill, along the beautiful Wye Valley Walk, then loops around the woodland footpaths on Leys Hill and Howle Hill, mainly on the footpaths of Bulls Hill, Howle Hill and Leys Hill.

The run will be hilly and probably very muddy. Therefore, grippy running shoes are recommended.

To make things more interesting there is a route option at about five miles; you can choose the shorter and steeper ‘Suicide descent’ route (at your own risk) or the more runnable ‘Bulls’ route - the choice is yours.

The organisers are expecting a good turnout. The entry fee is £5, and runners can pay on the day. All the proceeds will go towards funding the Walford Pre-School.
